Trying things out

We are planning to make Aliyah after we get married in December however as I do not know Israel so well we were thinkimg of going over there for about 3 months before December as a 'trial period'. Can you give us some advice on how to do this? Would I be able to enrol in Ulpan for a couple of months?

Hi Whatever you do, consult your Shaliach first. The reason is that you can never know whether your previous visits to Israel might exceed the limit of visitation time – regarded rights and financial support. Also, you might get settled during those 3 months and it might get harder to leave again and come back or if you decide to make aliyah and stay in Israel – that might cause further difficulties.
