Thank you, www.learnhebrew.org.il is great! I really like the sound function to work on the pronunciation.

Stubborness of Israelites.

Started with Abraham, father of Israelites. It is so clear, no advertising. Punishment included "asking son to be killed" - ie. G-d ask for ending of Abraham's line if he does not learn to enjoy life by "understanding imperfections". But the Ox persist, doesn't Israelite know that they are Angels who are the guardian of life on earth - not the job of man! Moses after the "rescue" persist and wrote on the 10 commandments. Jews given the label "Joker Every Where", punished with non stop torture, their tribe kept very small at 15 million. Yet they persist. And spawn they have other people of the book.......look at it, look at it clearly......G-d judgement is coming again! Even Hakka's from Singapore is planning same strategy. The leader has formed a "chosen sub tribe"! Advertising and assuming many things. Forget they are only part of the Middle Kingdom. We don't know what to say! The Masons had a lot of trouble with people of the book. People burned at stakes for intolerance. ahhhhhh! The Aliyah into the Promised Land is your final chance for reform. "Don't do to others what you do not want for yourself" "Understand the Code of Life" "Isn't it a torture to learn everything backwards" "Forced to record everything down for 3,000 years, so that you can learn" "What is most important, isn't it happiness, health and wealth?" We broke all rules for you! Reform!

Ulpan via computer

The Jerusalem Post had an article 14 Dec 2004, "24 hour TV takes Ulpan to the next level" about an Ulpan program via the internet. Dose anyone know about this program sponsered by the Immigration Absorption Ministry? Can anyone recommend any software for learning Hebrew? Can you recommend any websites for learning Hebrew?

Thanks, What is your experiance with FoundationStone, Milingua and Hebrew from Scratch? What would you recommend? What do you look for in an online course and is it complete?

Well

Hebrew from Scratch is used by a few ulpans. Chances are you'll be buying it anyways. Don't bother with the CDs or cassettes though. My sister has them and I didn't find them useful. If you want to see what milingua is like, you can sign up for hebrew word a day (free) and you can look at the first 6 lessons. The only problem with milingua is there isn't anything for learning vocabulary, which is why I use foundationstone for that. I made a wordlist for Hebrew from Scratch and the guy who writes foundationstone will include it in the next update. At the minimum, I recommend Hebrew from Scratch and foundationstone (the program). If you don't have access to a hebrew teacher, milingua is a worthwhile substitute.
