Update from Hay

Hi my friends We are in Hay on the first day of the competition. Unfortunately it has been raining here for 2 days so we managed to practice a bit yesterday (4 aero tows for Ilan) but today the paddock was muddy so the day was cancelled. The computers here are so old and using windows 95, so there is no option to read hebrew. We went to the library to read the forum, but I'm writing you now from the head quarters. The HQ facilities are much better this year, we have a big house and 5 computers with free internet, a bar and a lot of space for BBQ and other HG stuff. We have in our room the manufacturer of Metamorfosi chutes so Ilan and me have managed to re-pack our reserves. I have recorded it by video including a lot of explanations about chutes (Swithzer you will like it), So I plan to show you that and you will all be able to pack your chutes (only Conar) by yourself. Famous pilots here are Oleg, Craig, Jhon durand, Davis straub. This is only the open australian so we expect better pilots to come at the pre worlds which is later. You will be able to follow the results at the links I put in the forum and to know what's going on every day with Davis's website (Oz report). Food here is shit. I miss Humus so much and some cooked food. we only eat junks because that's what we have here. We have a problem with our mobile phone since we had to get the other CDMA phone from one of last year trike pilot but he is not coming, so we will have to manage with our digital ones. The cost is much higher and the reception is very limited in the outback. I guess you know I gave you the wrong number. The number ended with 4 is the one we didn't get. The number we have now is: 0061427789995. The time is 9 hours ahead I'm happy you managed to fly a bit last weekend, I hope you'll have many good days. Hagai, stop talking bullshit about washer machines and other stuff, it's a hanggliding forum
, although pics of Sap are more then welcome. I miss you all and hope to hear from you. Your phone calls will make us happy anytime David (Dod), (Dudu), (Dusy) etc

second day in Hay

Weather here is not as last year. The first time here to use our jumpers and coats we brought from Israel. They sent us to the paddock, area of towing, and after two hours of watching the wind and gusts getting stronger they have decided to cancel the day Although the cancellation the weather is much more comfortable with much less flies Miss you all

Hay task 2

Hi everybody I'm sorry for those who write in Hebrew, I can't read your messages so I'll have to respond in another time. I saw Alon's message and I guess he already reported about today's achivements. Ilan mad goal today of 137 km, it was a strong wind with cirus clouds, climbed up to 2000 m and the task was straitline to goal. It seems there were many pilots at goal (about 40) and he had an avarage time (about 2.5 hours). Yesterday he landed after 111 km, yazum, because he was tired and the harness was not perfect. The task was 159km and the conditions were quite similar, only lighter Ilan want's to go to eat, so have a Shabat Shalom Ilan and David from Aussie land |碣胙艚|鉉砒
