Wanted: apartment in Paris
For my PhD research on French Jewry in post-Liberation France our family ( me, my wife Yael, our daughter Ariel ( 4 years old ) and son Evyatar ( 8 months old ) ) plan to stay in Paris during the first semester of next academic year ( Sept 1st-Jan1st ). We are looking for an affordable place to stay, if possible in the proximity of ( Hebrew or English speaking, if possible ) Jewish community services and families ( 3rd or 4th arr. ? ). We can spend up to 1200-1500 Euro a month. I will be visiting libraries and archives most of the time. Do anybody have suggestions about where to stay, whom to contact etc.? We define ourselves as "traditional secular Jews", i.e. we are not very observant but we do celebrate Shabbat, the Holidays etc. and we do not eat treife. Thank you for your time. Yours, Yonathan Dror Bar-On ( Bert de Bruin ) Nesher, Israel
