Work in Tel Aviv this summer...

I am a student at USC and I am going to be living in Israel, specifically Tel Aviv, this summer. I understand that it is very difficult to accquire a work permit to work in Israel so I was wondering if anyone knew of any jobs that I could do or any exciting internships that might be possible. Any leads would be greatly appreciated!

About a year ago, I applied for an internship with Vered Layish. She secured me a position at Arutz Sheva news. When I asked about details, this was what she had offered: A full time work week, 9 to 6, plus being on call whenever news broke 300 shekels a month Housing to be provided at an absorption center And what of visas, plane tickets, etc? I should raise the money, or so I was told, by becoming a schnorrer in New York. So I logged onto A7's site and was led to a store run by them which was located in NY. I called up the store and asked if they could help, being as I would be working for them after all. A day later, Vered wrote that "Not only are they not willing to help but they have revoked your job offer!" Make of this story what you will. I personally find their greed, selfishness and histrionics distasteful and frankly it has canceled whatever notions of aliyah I may have had.
