First of all we would like to thank you for choosing Host Department as your one stop solutions for web hosting and domain registration services! We would like to thank both our new customers and those of you who have been using our services for years! Thank you for your continued support and trust for us to serve and host your online venture on the Internet. As an on going effort to increase our level of service towards our entire customer base, we are scheduling a system update of our entire servers throughout March and April 2004. We are very excited that we will be upgrading our Windows 2000 based servers into the new Windows 2003 based servers. Also, we will be shifting our custom Linux servers into a very secured FreeBSD systems to increase security and performance tremendously. Additionally PREMIUM APPLICATION (or the former W2k Xpress line hosting plans) will be able to enjoy Cold Fusion MX 6.1 along with the new functionalities and stability of a Windows 2003 server. Another exciting news! Our new line of FreeBSD and Windows 2003 servers are housed at our new state-of-the-art data center in Fremont, California! After the whole server move and upgrades took place, we will also be implementing a new mail server engine that will filter 90% to 95% of your daily SPAM emails! We are as excited are you are, as there will be no more SPAM emails in your mailbox, well at least it will be reduced to around 5 SPAM emails per day if you are currently getting at least 100 SPAM emails a day! More and more features will also be added to your web hosting control panel interface! We will do our best to keep service interruption at the lowest level as possible. During the data center move and system upgrade there will be minor service interruptions which will be notified to each customer accordingly. Minor service interruption would be in a form of: # Temporary service unavailability of FTP servers and other related services for our customers to update or make modifications of their existing website pages. This should not occur more than 4 hours. # IP Address changes of our DNS Servers which will impact our resellers. Resellers will be notified of their new private DNS IP Addresses. Each resellers must modify their DNS IP Addresses accordingly upon notification. During the system upgrade, we will keep "website downtime" interruption at the possible minimum level. While according to our upgrade schema, there should be NO website downtime at all, some times there are small little things that may occur that can cause website unavailability momentarily (no more than one hour). Details of each service interruption and system upgrade/server move including the exact date/time will be notified to each customer via email and we will also post the details of the status on http://www.hostdepartment.com/netstat/ The email subject of service interruption from us will START with the following line: Host Department - Server upgrade details ....... (the dots will be replaced with your server name, etc) Please make sure you filter that email as high priority email and it does not go to your junk mail folder so you will be aware when your server will be upgraded and when you will experience service interruptions. גם אני לא צריך תמיכה
אני אף פעם לא פונה לתמיכה שיש לי בעיה עם קבצים שלי.. רק שהשרת לא עובד, האי מייל לא עובד, השרת לא זז, בטעות הסירו אובייקטים (הרמ הרמ), אומרים לך שיש אובייקט X ומסתבר לאחר חודש שזה היה רק הגדמה (יאמר לטובתם, לאחר צעקות ואיומים, תוך יום הם קנו אותו - aspjpeg)

אצלי המהירות מעולה. אין Downtime. בטעות הסירו אובייקטים - זה כן קרה לי, אבל הם התיקנו לי אותו אח"כ. הם גם הסירו אותו אחרי ששדרגו לשרת חדש, אז יש להם תירוץ טוב
יש איתם בעיות, ולא הכל מושלם. אבל במחיר הזה - אין אירוחים הרבה יותר טובים. למרות שחשבתי כמה פעמים לעזוב אותם, תמדי אני נשאר - בגלל המחיר

על מה כל הדיון???
חזור כמה הודעות אחורה, חפש "תמיכה", "אובייקטים" וכו'. נראה לי שכל התומכים זה אותו תומך אחד. הדביליות שם אצל התומכים חוגגת, והחלמנאות.. למזלי הבעיה עם האובייקט לא כל כך הזיזה לי, לכן לא הצקתי להם כל שעה (אלה רק כל יום). לאחר שבוע וחצי, לאחר שסירבתי לזוז להם מהצ'ט, סוף סוף תוקנה הבעיה. השירות והתמיכה - חרא. אם זאת, כמו שעמית אמר, המחיר והשרתים בעקרון אחלה. כל עוד אין בעיות ואין ממש הרבה, הכל בסדר. שיש בעיה... זה כבר עניין אחר. לא הייתי מאכסן שם אתר שצריך 99.9% פעילות שוטפת על כלל חלקיו ושמדובר באתר חשוב...
