Yorgos Kazantzis invites his friends on Plato's stage in Thessaloniki, every Monday night Every Monday night, Greek composer Yorgos Kazantzis invites on stage his friends, singers and musicians and offer a unique panorama of Greek music. Each Monday, from November 7 and throughout the winter, one guest presents his or her music at Thessalonikis Plato Music Hall. Tsaligopoulou, Kotsiras, Pyrovolakis and Christidou live at Athens' Anodos Pireos Club Four down-to-earth low profile artists join forces every night throughout the witner and appear on stage at the Anodos Pireos Music Hall of Athens, from December 2, onwards: Eleni Tsaligopoulou and Yannis Kotsiras, Manos Pyrovolakis and Ralia Christidou in a common program, produced by Possidonas Yannopoulos. Good quality music and songs by four representatives of the new generation of singers. Eleni Tsaligopoulou and Yannis Kotsiras meet onstage for the second time. Both in the business for a good number of years, they welcome two younger colleagues, Manos Pyrovolakis and Ralia Christidou, both in their first steps. All four of them sing along each other's hits and their own. Anodos Pireos Music Hall is a state of the art venue, located in the greater area of Athens' entertainment zone of Keramikos.

Long live the popular song! Music performances at Athens' Charama music hall Once again on the stage of Charama, the historical music hall of Kaisariani, Athens, Mario, one of the most popular female singers in Greece collaborates this year with two important voices of the Greek popular song, Lena Alkeou and Lampros Karelas. The direction of the music performance entitled Long live the popular song is by Charis Romas. The performances start on October 14 and last until March 30, 2006. This music performance pays respect to representative popular songs that were written by many important Greek folk songwriters, such as Markos Vamvakaris, Vassilis Tsitsanis, Bagianderas and Yiannis Papaioannou. In the musical part of the program are also included special references on singers who played a leading role in the resurgence of popular and rebetiko song, among them being Sotiria Bellou, Stelios Kazantzidis, Kaiti Grey, Poly Panou as well as singers of the younger generation, such as Charis Alexiou, Elefteria Arvanitaki and others. Both Mario and Lena Alkaiou present a special homage to one of the most eminent figures of the Greek song, Sophia Vembo.
