a word of advice

from a veteran of flights to the UK. NEVER go for a regular flight, always for a charter. you can get some pretty cheap ones, even for 400$. just go to Issta and enquire. also, check out the charter deals at the back of newspapers, such as "Yediot". there are other charter companies like "Hashatiach Hame'ofef" and others. anyway, BA and EA are regular flights, so of course they are much more expensive. you'd probably end up going with Arkia or other charte or with a connection like thru Budapest or Rome.
