וגם ראיון קצר עם דני: IT WAS McFly mania in Manchester last night as fans of the chart-topping band stopped traffic when they came out in droves to see two of the band at a Manchester city centre record store. One thousand lucky young girl fans managed to bag a coveted coloured wrist-band which entitled them to get into the Arndale Centre's Zavvi record store (formerly Virgin megastore) to catch a glimpse of Danny and Dougie signing copies of their new record But demand was so massive that organisers say they could have easily given away up to 4,000 wristbands - and the clamour to see them resulted in hordes of fans sleeping outside overnight to be certain of meeting the chart-toppers. Bolton-born McFly singer/guitarist Danny revealed afterwards that their music is about to take a new direction. So, while they've been the apple of their girl fans' pop-picking eyes for the best part of three years now - expect a sea-change in style more in keeping with a band which is clearly now in the throes of musical adulthood. Danny tells me they have even employed a producer who worked with American punk band Green Day to give their new music a fuller rock sound. The first sign of that collaboration is in the band's new single The Heart Never Lies and Danny couldn't be happier with the results. "We were really pleased when the record company decided to release that track as a single because although we loved the song we really didn't think they would like it. "We thought it may be a bit too different from our established style for them. "But the record company loved it and we were delighted when they told us they were going to release it. "We had a guy who worked with Green Day mix the track because we wanted more bottom end so it felt rockier. We wanted some `oomph' behind it and we definitely got that. I love playing it live too because it gives me a chance to give the guitar a good old thrash." It certainly didn't seem to affect the band's popularity among the loyal army of fans who turned out to pack the basement venue at the newly named Zavvi store yesterday evening. A spokesman tells me: "It was pandemonium - if there had been room we would have had about four times that number inside the venue. We didn't expect that many people. We were taken aback." טוב נו זה לא קצר... אבל מה שדני אומר זה קצר
אני לא טובה בתירגומים אז מי שרוצה לתרגם מוזמנת
אבל כעקרון מה שהוא אומר זה שהם עובדים עם מישהו שעבד עם גרין דיי והם רוצים לשנות את הכיוון שלהם לכיוון יותר רוקיסטי יאאא... יומטוב!
