renting part of my apartment
I bought an apartment 9 years ago where the bottom floor (it is a duplex) was a dental clinic and continued to be so for the next 3-4 years. Once the dentist retired we made the clinic into a studio apartment ( it has it's own entrance) and have been renting it out for the past five years. Now, all of a sudden the other people in the building (there are five other apartments) have a problem with us renting it out. Do I have any rights? Where can I find the laws about this issue?
