תם האירוח של אדריאן ווילקינסון אך..

I am still definitly

open to the idea of conventions. I have agreed to the London invitation...but it is up to Creation to confirm the final guest list and finalize all of those details. I hope to be at the New York con and the London con in August. For anyone who has access... I have an episode of Angel that will air next week in the United States. The episode is called Orpheus.

hey Adrienne

How was it to work in New Zealand, away from home?
Did you get the chance to tour in New Zealand, if you did, how was it?
If you had the chance to play any role in Xena, what would you choose?

?Hello Adrienne!! What's up../images/Emo141.gif

!!Thank you very much for doing this, it's so great
?here's something I did for you, what do you think
And now my questions: 1) How did you prepared to Livia/Eve role? 2)Were you watching the show before you began to act in it? 3)Were you doing the fight scenes yourself? or you had a stuntwoman? how was it?? hard? Thank you, from Or!

I hadn't watched XENA

before I booked the role of Livia. But once I was hired, I was given a few tapes to watch. And then I was hooked. Its a cool show and so beautiful to watch. I did a lot of emotional work for Livia - mostly trying to explore her past, and why she became the sort of power hungry person she was. I did a ton of fight rehearsing. It was endless. Everyday I was practicing fighting. I did have a stunt double. I did all of the fighting (except stunts - like flips and things) and so did my stunt double (including stunts) and the editors would use peices of both fights to create the best finished product.

I loved New Zealand

It is the most beautiful place I've ever been. I would reccommend that everyone who had the opportunity - go!! It is just increadible. You can see anything there. Mountains, lakes, black and white sand beaches, glaciers, forrests... words don't do it justice. I was never able to tour the south sland, which is supposed to be even better than the north island. I did see a majority of the North Island though. There are so many juicy character on Xena that I would love to play. A God. A different kind of villian... etc. There are probably 20 different characters on the show that facinate me.

Shany wrote: Adrienne hello! I'm really happy that you are in our forum, I think you play Eve\Livia really well I wanted to ask what did you have to do in order to get the part? was it difficult? did the role changed your life?is it for the good? yair m asked 1. why did you choose to appear in Xena? Noam Rik asked: I'm a writer and I was wondering if you could give my some ideas for a fight scene? the fight scene is supposed to be funny (it is animated)

Apparently they had been

earching for the role of Livia for several weeks. It was one of those magical moments where I walked in the door - and they were instantly sure I was what they were looking for. It was great. There were two audition scenes- and at the time the information about Livia being the daughter of Xena was 'top secret' the character was simply listed as an Empress who would be an enemy of Xena For Noam: I loved the character - and the idea of filming in New Zealand... those details helped me decide to take the job on Xena. My best advice for writing- is that on paper funny fight scenes have a lot of commentary. The more you can coment on the action - the better it translates.

Hi Adrienne, welcome to the Israeli Forum On
Net! We're so happy to have you here and very excited about it, and really appreciate the fact that you're here
I have several question to ask you:
What was the hardest thing to do during the shooting of your characters, emotionly? both as Eve and as Livia.
Did you ever watch the show before you appear in it? and what did you think about the show before?
You said on your website that you will want to voice a cartoon character one day. What character are you thinking on? Anyway, we're so happy you're here. Here's something I made for your coming. Love, Michelle.

How is it to work with Lucy? Did you enjoy shooting the show?

Lucy is very funny

She was fantastic to work with. So full of energy and able to really get to the 'meat' of a scene quickly. I learned a ton from her. I loved shooting the show. It was such a great gift.

dear adrienne ../images/Emo24.gif

first of all, i would like to tell you that i've been following you'r acting career for a long time, and i really admirer you'r acting skills. you are definitely one of my favorite actors! I really love you'r movies, (such as "mystic caverns", "mom's little girl", "false fears" and "beloved red"), and also you'r plays on stage ("last summer", "beyond therapy", "take two")... and, of chorse, the best part you have ever played: "eve" in xena warrior princess.... questions i want to ask you: 1. how was it like playing in "xena"? was it a good expirience for you? did you enjoyed playing "eve"? 2. are you planning to participate in more episodes of "xena"? 3. are you planning to do a movie or another project this year? 4. in general speaking, do you enjoy being a actresses? what are the best things about this profession? 5. what was it like, working with Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor, in "xena"? did you had a good relationship with them? thank you very much for you'r time, adrienne, hope i'll see you soon on the screens....
love, maor, israel

good morning, Adrienne

This is Noa, posting from Boston. First, I know you're 3 hours behind me, if you're on passific time, so kudos for the early rise on Sunday morning. :) we actually met a couple of times in conventions, and I think I even asked you a couple questions before. Anyway, my question this time around is: do you think that appearing as a semi-regular character on XWP has furthered your career? do you feel you are offered more roles because you portrayed Eve/Livia on such a high profiled show? and - do you get roles within the realm of sci-fi and fantasy (television and films, because that happns to many actors who rose to fame in "genre" films). or in short - how are your post-Xena life as a professional actress? :) thanks, Noa

I love being an actress

Working makes me very happy. I love every project I've had the chance to work on. And I'm excited by the prospect of every new project that may come my way. lucy and Renee were both fantastic. I adore them both and l loved working with them

Hello Adrienne../images/Emo24.gif

Hello and welcome
The thing I'm most interested in is bloopers
I love them. So my question is - do you have any memorable bloopers? Fun stories from the set? Also, what do you think about the subtext? Did you like it? Thanks for coming here

Bloopers- are so fun

Funny at the time, and even better to look back on. Xena was a haven for bloopers because we had so much to deal with: horses, weapons, costumes, smoke, lines, fighting etc.... So it was easy for something to go wrong which would leave us cracking up. My Eve costume would get caught on everything all the time. And my Livia costume was always having peices of armor fall off. The majority of the best bloopers are on the blooper collections that you see at conventions - they are hilarious.

!Hey again Adrienne../images/Emo141.gif

What was the most fun part in working on the set of XWP? What was the most difficult part?
From the episodes of XWP which you played in, what is your favorite one?
If you could, is there anything you would like to change in the character of Eve/Livia?
What three things would you take with you to an isolated island?

ADRIENNE- For you again

Hiya Girl once again, Niva here. I wanted to ask you 2 quite questions - the first is if you happen to know any Hebrew and if you do want, I'd be happy to teach you some right here! Second, you know...the war with Iraq. I just wanted to ask you what are your thoughts about it? America used to be such a peaceful place and now...with the war and everything it all changed, don't you think? All the best - Niva xxxx
